Veteran's Day 2020

Here at The Health Center at Bloomingdale we honor and thank all our veterans both living and deceased who have served this great country of ours. Even though Covid is doing its best to interrupt our community celebrations, we continue to try and come up with our own innovative ways to still honor and celebrate all our residents through these unprecedented times. This past Wednesday, instead of having our veteran’s day celebration in fellowship with family and members of the community we took a more intimate approach. Activity staff visited with the residents and presented each of our veteran’s with a miniature American flag and Certificate of Appreciation for their service to our country & residents were able to share some of their memories with the staff. Later staff got all the residents involved in the celebration with a traveling ice cream sundae cart for both residents and staff to enjoy.
